Here at KCI we strive to provide 24/7 availability for our customers.

We offer a variety of CEU courses from both AHA and NAEMT. We also offer skills sign offs for state, county and NREMT recertification training for EMTs and Paramedics.

Our instructors are from a variety of backgrounds in both EMS and military service.

*If you do not see a class on the schedule that will work for you, OR you are looking for a specific class please contact us about setting up a time that will work for you.

*We are able to travel to you! We require a minimum of 6 students for this option.


Kelly Kjelstrom

For the past 26 years Kelly Kjelstrom has served this country in the Armed services.  He started his military career in the US Navy then after a short break went into the Army. He is currently in the US Air Force as flight medic, flying medi-vac missions worldwide. During his time in the military he has received specialized training in SAR operations; water survival, open water rescue, confined space rescue; medical SERE training; tactical weapons training, anti-terrorism training, multiple aircraft training; combat medical training, multi-casualty incidents training, homeland security threat and vulnerability assessment; Haz-Mat, fire rescue, air assault, and land/sea navigation. In addition to his years of military service, Kelly has worked the past 20 years for American Medical Response as a paramedic, field training officer (FTO)/Preceptor, Mobile Integrated Healthcare Provider (MIHP), and National College of Technical Instruction (NCTI) as an instructor. As an MIHP, Kelly is one of 80 in the State of California working on a state-wide pilot project specializing in psychiatric pre-hospital assessment. When he is not working, he enjoys skiing, hiking, camping, outdoor activities, and spending time with his daughters.


Dianne Kjelstrom

Ten plus years of experience helping teach continuing education courses for healthcare providers is where she began her career. She worked her way through the ranks and became a lead instructor. She spent a short time in the United States Air Force Reserves, and was an EMT with AMR for four years. She is now a full time Paramedic at AMR. Between teaching classes at KCI and working at AMR, she is attending classes at MJC to further her education.
